Mitsubishi Materials to compensate Chinese for wartime forced labour

TOKYO, June 1 (Reuters) - Mitsubishi Materials Corp

said on Wednesday it reached an agreement to apologise and pay

compensation to Chinese labourers forced to work in its mines

during World War Two.
